Brush tool is the one tool I use a lot for different purposes, There is a huge variety of Brushes you can download from different websites. However, it might be little difficult for you to find brushes for Photoshop, but unlike Photoshop 7, You can find many brushes of Photoshop CS 2-6, I have used many Brushes in those version to create many and many digital painting. The Picture given below was designed by me back in 2010.
I took this model picture from the internet, removed the background and used several brushes in CS5, I got this result in the end. Now Let's start a little tutorial.
Select a model picture with a single background so it would be easy for you to cut the picture. As already gone through, we have to erase the rough edges of the background. Here is what I got!
Remove the edges by eraser tool. you can use any other background with the picture too.
Now we are going to use the brushes in the back. If you are using Photoshop 7. You might not have enough range in brushes. Now select the Brush Tool.
Now use your imagination and expend your mind to explore your own creativity. I am going to apply one or two brushes, after that i will reply few other effects we learned in previous tutorials. You do this exercise too because it will help you revise the lessons. Take a look what I got in the end.
