Elliptical Marquee Tool is also used to make a round border around the pictures. I use it hardly in some pictures. However, can be useful in many ways. I've not explored this tool that much. Let's start tutorial.
- Open Photoshop
- Now, we've already use Rectangular Marquee tool, all you have to do is to right click on it and select Elliptical Marquee Tool
- now open an Image of your choice.
- I have chosen this cute baby picture because this is what I usually get to made.
- After selecting the Elliptical Marquee Tool, select feather to 30 or as per your choice.
- Now go to image, drag to make a circle.
- press Ctrl+Shift+I to inverse the selection.
- Choose the Foreground
- Make a new Layer
- Press Alt+Backspace to fill the Color.
- See the Border appeared with feather effect.
- You can add different effects to the pic thereafter
- Try to revise previous lessons in every new lesson.
- after using some effects such as Levels, Gradient Tool i got the following result.
