Dodge / Burn Tool is used for retouching the photos giving effects to Face, Hairs and serve different purposes relating to designing, editing and retouching a Photos. I am using the a picture of a Model which is already so much beautiful in fact so much that there is not need of editing required. But that is not the case, we are trying to change the look of the picture by using dodge and burn tool. But before that, you must perform all the previous lectures, specially Make Up and B&W tutorials to do the needful.
See she needs to retouching and editing, *eyes rolling*. Now Let's start doing it.. perform the procedure we have already learned on the above photo.
After the completion, Choose the Dodge Tool
Burn tool, obviously seems that it burns the image, and turns it into Ashes, exactly, as soon as you apply it, no matter what it will start giving black effect to the areas you are applying it on and Dodge is quite the reverse, it will enhance the color by giving it white effect.
Do it on hairs, Eyes brows, lips even eyes, etc. After applying all, check the result. Here is what I got.
