Blur Tool ~ Photography and Tutorials for Beginners

Today we will go through the tutorial of using Blur Tool, which can be useful from in different working. like if you want to give DSLR effect to a picture by making the background blue. I use it to blue wedding photographs to give it a DSLR Look. Let's go through the tutorial now.

Open Photoshop application.
Open an Image you want to work with.
I have chosen the following

In the above pic, you that selecting background is a little harder for Magic Wand Tool. So we will use Pen Tool. Press P to select it.

Start click from the edges of the picture.
Complete the pattern as per given picture by joining the beginning point.

Now go to Layer Tray, select paths and click on the Icon as can be seen in the given image.
As soon as you click on the little circular, the path you made with Pen Tool will become Selection.

Now go menu bar.
Select filter >>> Bur.
There are six options in Photoshop 7 i.e. Blur, Blur More, Gaussian Blur, Motion Blur, Radial Blur and Smart Blur.
Try to apply all of them one by one to get the idea.
